Why This Book?
I may be wrong about this, but I believe this book came out after the Undeniable book which was published after the live debate about creationism versus evolution.
I did not read Undeniable all the way through. Since I’m a team Bill on this topic, it didn’t seem to benefit me to listen to or read a speech about how evolution is undeniable.
When I saw that he had another lookout, I thought I would give it a go. I have no reason for having picked up this book other than that handsome fellow on the cover.
What Is This Book About?
This book is basically about climate change, but more complexly, it’s about more than that.
The first few chapters are lots of statistics about global warming. The causes and the effects.
When the book starts to seem pretty bleak, he starts to layout some exciting possibilities to reverse some of the effects of global warming. The chapters that follow are full of ideas and fun experiments that he has tried in his own home.
How Did I Like This Book?
I absolutely loved this book!
As you can probably tell, I tend to love every book that I read.
I borrowed the audiobook from my local library, and I am so glad I did! Audiobook is narrated by the author which makes it feel like you’re having a one-sided conversation about global warming with the charismatic Bill Nye.
The book is simultaneously funny, educational, and inspiring. Love, love, love.
